'Silence' Triptych is a mixed media sculptural work composed of three distinct panels that together form a unified and harmonious whole. While each element stands independently, the work establishes a continuous visual dialogue across its full two-metre span, creating both balance and quiet strength within a space.
Inspired by the practices of Mindfulness and Zen meditation, the sculpture reflects the transformative process of letting go, releasing what no longer serves us in order to become fully present in the moment. It speaks to a stage of gentle awakening: a conscious pause in which stillness allows renewal, clarity and change to emerge.
Colour plays a symbolic role within the composition. White, as the dominant tone, represents light and purification, dispersing what feels stagnant or fixed, and introducing a sense of openness, peace and silence. It suggests awareness of transformation as something both inevitable and quietly beautiful.
The textured, sculptural surfaces interact subtly with light, shifting throughout the day and enhancing the work’s contemplative presence. This interplay of material, depth and illumination invites the viewer into a reflective encounter, encouraging stillness and inward focus.
Ideal for a generous interior setting, 'Silence' Triptych offers a refined statement piece that brings calmness, balance and understated sophistication to its environment.
