The front of the guitar features a striking hand-painted portrait of Dave Grohl, accompanied by the iconic Foo Fighters logo. Surrounding the portrait are carefully integrated song titles and lyrics from across the band’s catalogue, woven throughout the front and sides of the instrument. Also included is Taylor Hawkins’ instantly recognisable hawk tattoo symbol, serving as a subtle yet meaningful tribute.
The reverse of the guitar is dedicated to Taylor Hawkins, with a beautifully rendered portrait on the back. Across the body are the lyrics from “Aurora”, Taylor’s favourite song to play live, making this piece both deeply personal and emotionally resonant.
