Artist Statement

Tina Bullivant is an artist whose work is deeply inspired by the natural world and the emotional impact of the vibrant, ever-changing colours found in nature. Her art seeks to capture those fleeting, magical moments that compel us to pause and truly see, whether it’s the delicate presence of a butterfly on a flower or the intricate beauty of a dandelion seed head.

Working primarily with acrylic inks, Tina embraces their intensity and fluidity to bring her subjects to life. She often incorporates metallic elements and gold leaf to add depth, light, and a sense of enchantment to her pieces. Her practice is joyfully experimental, and she frequently employs mixed media, including collage, to achieve the textures and effects that best express her artistic vision.
