Collection: Felicity Pike

Growing up in rural Lincolnshire, surrounded by wildlife, creativity has always been a way of life for Felicity Pike. She derives much inspiration from the unique personalities of people, plants, and animals around her, employing a variety of mediums and techniques in her work. Her love of nature and living things are expressed in both two and three dimensions.

For painting, Felicity finds the buttery texture of oils the perfect medium to convey the colour, light, and energy of her subject matter; portraits of people and animals, things with life! Her collage is produced from both fabric and paper, with a variety of mixed media.

Felicity's unique three-dimensional pieces in her "Art to Wear" form an exclusive collection of brooches and pins created in wool and textiles. Inspiration for these, again, comes from life; human characters, fish, and animals.

Felicity has exhibited in the last year with Rye Society of Artists, Rye Art Gallery, and Weald of Kent Art Society (WOKAS). She has been Chair of, and exhibited with, Tuesday Painters of Rye since 2021.
