Collection: Clive Dand

Clive Dand is a British artist whose work reflects a lifelong passion for drawing, painting, and sculpture. He studied art and design in London before embarking on an international career as a design consultant in New York and Toronto. Upon returning to the UK, he established Dand Design Associates in Covent Garden, combining creative direction with commercial design.

In 2005, Clive relocated to the Blackmore Vale in Somerset and founded Artbreaks.com, an initiative offering art workshops and painting retreats across the UK and Europe. His commitment to sharing artistic skills and nurturing creativity led to years of successful teaching in inspiring locations.

Now based in Tenterden, Kent, Clive works from a converted barn studio, creating expressive landscape and seascape paintings in oils and watercolours. Deeply inspired by the natural beauty of Rye, Romney Marsh, and the Weald of Kent, he also continues to paint en plein air during regular visits to Provence and Crete.

Clive has played an active role in the regional art scene, serving as Exhibition Secretary of the Bruton Art Society, a member of the Art Committee for the Royal Bath and West Show, and as Chairman of the Weald of Kent Art Society.
