Hi there! My name is Blake, an award-winning photographer and videographer based in Sheffield. I have extensive experience across various aspects of photography and videography, with a primary focus on landscape and wildlife imagery. My work has earned recognition, including an award from the RSPCA for a project titled Brilliant Wildlife. 

With a passion for storytelling through visuals, I aim to showcase the world from fresh and unexpected perspectives. My goal is to inspire creativity, offering a new lens for those who may find it challenging to see the world in an imaginative way.

In my photography, I am endlessly fascinated by the presentation of contrasts—light against shadow, serenity against chaos, and the delicate interplay between nature’s raw beauty and its untamed unpredictability. Every image I capture is an opportunity to explore boundless creative possibilities, as I never allow myself to feel confined by conventional limits.

I have worked in all flavours of photography; wildlife, landscape, weddings, festivals, promotional, stock, corporate, etc. However, I had been searching for something that would truly test my limits with my photography knowledge. Through this, I discovered infrared photography. For those that are unfamiliar, infrared photography works by capturing the infrared spectrum of the light wavelength, a part that our eyes cannot see naturally. Camera sensors have filters that block out all ultra-violet and infrared light, however I sourced a digital camera that had been modified to capture the tail end of the visible light spectrum and the full infrared spectrum. This has allowed me to create images in a wavelength invisible to most, satisfying my desire for an immersive photographic challenge that blends both art and science. The end result is photography with obscene on contrasting colours, making images look almost 'fairy tale' and surreal.
