Collection: Mark Farrow

Mark Farrow is a local artist based in Tenterden. He is a member of The Weald of Kent Art Society and also the Royal Tunbridge Wells Art Society.
He paints, mostly in mixed media but his real passion is printmaking; creating original, limited-edition fine art prints. He has developed his own unique style and technique involving multiple layers, textures and blended tones.
All the prints are original, i.e. the artwork is created as a print in the first instance, as opposed to being a copy or a reproduction of original artwork in another medium.
Mark exhibits in London and across the south east and has won both judges and public voting awards for his work.
He loves working with landscapes, seascapes and still life and typically produces framed, signed, limited-edition prints. His aim is to create beautiful and aesthetic pieces that blur the boundaries between digital collage and fine art.
Artist Statement
“I believe that art should be creative, aesthetic and which above all should evoke some sort of emotion. As a digital artist I strive to create pieces that challenge conventional views of media and composition and which explore the delicate balance between bold experimentation and meticulous craftsmanship. The techniques I use are innovative and transform traditional methods of creating visual artwork. The combination of technology and fundamental approaches to form, colour and texture allow me to produce work which is both organic and unique. Through my work I hope to create striking pieces that not only resonate visually but which also inspire curiosity, provoke conversation and leave a lasting impression.”
