Collection: Beverley Johnson

Printmaker
Beverley Johnson is a printmaker living and working in Aylesford, with a background in Art History that quietly informs the sensitivity and refinement of her work. A turning point in her creative journey came in 2015, when she completed a linocut course and acquired an original 1860 Albion printing press, opening the door to a practice that has evolved and flourished ever since.
Her work primarily consists of original, limited-edition lino prints inspired by nature, often featuring a simple, graphic aesthetic reminiscent of Japanese design. She also explores collage and plant-based prints, creating hybrid mixed-media pieces that maintain a similar sense of harmony and elegance.
Beverley Johnson values the authenticity of the handmade and strives to create work that offers viewers a sense of balance and beauty - art that resonates and enriches the spaces we inhabit.
Beverley exhibits widely, including in London, she welcomes commissions and also leads occasional workshops, sharing the craft and character of traditional printmaking with others
