Although she has loved fine art throughout her life, it was during two years living in Provence, France, from 2015 to 2017, that she discovered a desire to create her own paintings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInspired by the French Impressionists and their beautiful interpretation of light, Janine began developing her own artistic style, with colour and light at the heart of her work. She works predominantly in oils, drawn to the richness, depth and expressive qualities of the medium, which allow her to capture atmosphere and bring her subjects to life.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMore recently, Janine has begun exploring soft pastels, embracing the freedom of a different medium and the opportunity to experiment with a more abstract approach to painting.
